How to Play PowerMonger
Quick start
Choose the opening territory and inspect your commander, nearby settlements and food. Secure supplies before advancing; watch the changing situation and issue the next order when your force is ready.
Controls
D-pad moves the map cursor. Select a command icon, then its settlement, unit or target. Inspect the commander and supplies while events continue; this is real-time command, not a turn-ending menu.
PowerMonger — About this game
PowerMonger places a commander above a living landscape whose people have homes, occupations and loyalties. Conquest depends on more than moving soldiers towards an enemy: food, settlements and the response of local inhabitants affect the strength of a campaign. Seasonal changes can make preparation as valuable as a successful attack. The goal is to bring territories under your command while keeping the force that carries out your orders capable of continuing the advance.
