Quick start
Read the opening scene, then choose a response when the menu appears. Note who has disappeared and follow the subjects that explain the current situation. In the first battle, watch the available hand choices before making your selection.
Controls
Use the D-pad to move through dialogue and action choices, then confirm. Advance text with the confirmation input. During a battle, choose the displayed rock-paper-scissors response rather than using free-form fighting combinations.
Ranma 1/2: Byakuran Aika — About this game
Byakuran Aika centres on a new Ranma story involving Arisa Nanjo and the disappearance of Ranma's friends. The player follows scenes and chooses what Ranma should do or say, with animated sequences carrying the consequences forward. Encounters also use a rock-paper-scissors-style battle system rather than the direct fighting controls of the series' tournament games. The emphasis is on following the characters and making choices within a voiced Japanese story.
