How to Play Sengoku
Quick start
Start a game and practise hitting a single opponent without walking into the next one. Turn towards enemies behind you and leave space to move away when a crowd forms. Learn the effect of a new pickup before relying on it.
Controls
Use the D-pad to walk and face threats. Use the configured attack and jump controls to fight and reposition, and use the game's special-action command when the corresponding ability is available.
Sengoku — About this game
Sengoku sends a warrior against ghosts and other enemies drawn from a hostile past. The side-scrolling advance is built around controlling the space directly in front of the character while reacting to attackers entering from another side. Close combat gives each crowd a dangerous rhythm: turn towards an opening, strike and reposition before the next enemy closes in. Its changing supernatural scenery supplies the setting for a direct brawling challenge rather than a map-based strategy war.
