How to Play Shadowrun
Quick start
Begin the opening scenario and read the conversation before choosing a destination or topic. Review the party's available actions when the first encounter begins. Keep an eye on the resources spent by attacks instead of choosing the same command automatically.
Controls
Use the D-pad to highlight dialogue, destinations and battle commands. Confirm to choose an action and target; use the menu's return command to reconsider. Resolve the turn through the command interface rather than action-game shooting controls.
Shadowrun — About this game
The Mega-CD Shadowrun is a distinct Japanese adventure set in Neo Tokyo, rather than a conversion of the Mega Drive or Super Nintendo games. Conversation and scene-based investigation carry the story between dangerous assignments. When combat begins, turn-based decisions are resolved through visible dice rolls, echoing the tabletop role-playing rules behind the setting. Technology and supernatural forces share the same world, so following the story and preparing the party belong to the same cycle of play.
