Silpheed — About this game
A small space fleet heads for Earth after a hostile force seizes control of its defenses. You pilot the Silpheed through vertically scrolling battles, dodging ships, structures and incoming fire against elaborate moving backgrounds. Main weapons handle routine enemies while optional weapons add a separate tactical choice. New equipment becomes available as your score grows, so selecting weapons between stages changes how you approach enemy formations and bosses.
