How to Play The Smurfs
Quick start
Start the first stage and practise a short jump on safe ground. Approach a new enemy slowly, watch its movement and choose a landing point beyond it. Look ahead before dropping into a lower part of the level.
Controls
Use the D-pad to move and position the active Smurf. Use the assigned jump control to cross gaps or avoid an enemy, and the context-specific action control where an object or stage event calls for it.
The Smurfs — About this game
The Smurfs turns the animated world into a side-scrolling platform journey. Movement through each area asks for careful jumps around enemies and environmental hazards, with the changing scenery giving familiar characters a succession of different challenges. The Mega-CD release belongs to this earlier platform-game adaptation rather than the later three-dimensional adventures. Keeping a steady pace and looking ahead for a safe landing help the small heroes make progress through the route.
