How to Play Sonic the Hedgehog Megamix
Quick start
Choose an available character and begin the opening zone. Practise the basic jump before trying the character's additional movement actions. Explore a short section slowly to see how the altered layout differs from the original Sonic stages.
Controls
D-pad moves; B or C jumps. Hold Down and press B or C for a Spin Dash. A uses the selected character’s special action; during free fall it curls the character into a ball. These are the developer guide’s basic controls.
Sonic the Hedgehog Megamix — About this game
Sonic the Hedgehog Megamix is a fan modification of the original Mega Drive Sonic, later developed for Sega CD. Team Megamix reworks its artwork, music, level layouts and abilities instead of simply reproducing Sonic CD. The project is known for multiple playable characters, whose different movement styles change the way routes are approached. This disc is a project build, so the available roster and advanced moves depend on that build rather than every feature advertised for a later demonstration.
