How to Play Surgical Strike
Quick start
Watch the briefing and practise moving the crosshair onto the first enemy. Use the gun for ordinary targets, keep missiles for a threat that needs them and hold the turning control when the route asks for a direction change.
Controls
D-pad moves the crosshair. A fires the gun; B fires a missile. Hold C and use the D-pad to change direction at a turning point. Start pauses and shows the overhead map; A, B or C changes its status display.
Surgical Strike — About this game
Surgical Strike places a military hovercraft inside a filmed operation against hostile forces. A moving combat scene asks the player to target enemies and give turning instructions at specific junctions. The gun handles ordinary fire, while a limited missile supply provides another answer to heavily protected targets. Shooting and steering therefore compete for attention throughout the mission. The Brazil-only Sega CD 32X version is a separate hardware edition with enhanced presentation, rather than a different set of basic mission objectives. This edition uses both Sega CD and 32X.
