How to Play World Cup USA 94
Quick start
Pass the opening logo, select a menu language and choose a team and match mode. Check the match settings, then start the opening fixture. Practise directing a short pass with B before trying a shot, and change to a nearby defender when possession is lost.
Controls
D-pad moves the player and directs the ball. With possession: A shoots or makes a long kick, B passes and C chips. Without possession: A slides, B blocks and C selects the player nearest the ball. On set plays, use the direction and power indicator before taking the kick.

World Cup USA 94 turns the international tournament into an overhead football game. Moving the ball into space, choosing between a short pass and a lofted delivery and recovering possession shape each match. Team selection and setup precede the action, with the tournament providing a continuing reason to improve beyond the opening fixture. The same buttons change role when possession changes, so learning the defensive controls is as important as finding a way to goal.
