How to Play WWF Rage in the Cage
Quick start
Choose a wrestler and match, then learn the reach of a punch and a kick before closing in. Try a short run only with room to stop. When the opponent is weakened, move into position for a grapple or pin instead of continuing to strike from a distance.
Controls
D-pad moves the wrestler. A runs, B punches and C kicks. B+C performs a grapple or a pin when the situation allows it. Follow the current position and opponent state when using a close-range move; Start begins play and handles the match's pause interface.
WWF Rage in the Cage — About this game
Rage in the Cage brings WWF wrestlers into a side-view ring where positioning controls the flow of each exchange. Punches and kicks open an attack, running changes the approach and a close grapple creates another set of opportunities. Winning requires more than repeated striking: the opponent has to be worn down and a pin attempted at the right moment. The Japanese WWF Mania Tour name refers to this same work rather than a separate wrestling sequel.
