How to Play Sennen Kazoku
Quick start
Choose New Game and define the first family's members, names, appearance and personalities. When observation begins, press SELECT to open Person and inspect each relative's current concern and red motivation gauge. Press L to switch to Shoot an Arrow: use the Encouragement Arrow to push a promising concern toward an event, or the Calm Down Arrow to suppress a harmful one. Guide romance, school, work, marriage and children so the bloodline survives for 1,000 years. The internal clock continues while the system is off, so check the family regularly.
Controls
D-Pad chooses commands and family members. A confirms, executes a command and fast-forwards text. B cancels/returns; hold B for automatic text advance. L switches to the Shoot an Arrow command. R enters Watch Mode and can accelerate time. START opens the Cupid command for saving, settings and the family tree. SELECT opens the Person command and detailed status. A+B+START+SELECT together resets the game, so avoid that combination during ordinary play.
