How to Play Sentouin: Yamada Hajime
Quick start
Start the story as Hajime Yamada, a reluctant foot soldier of the evil Botsukan Empire. Read the main order shown at the start of the mission, pick up the required item in town and use it with A on the correct target; the first notable order is to defeat a police officer. Early Hajime is far weaker than the heroes who arrive as public anger rises, so use the B-button dash to escape and finish the main objective. You can carry only one equipped item, and swapping drops the old one where you stand.
Controls
D-Pad moves around the overhead map and selects menu items. A is the context action: inspect a suspicious spot, use the equipped item, attack or confirm. B dashes and cancels in menus. Later monster forms have different special moves; reliable public GBA material does not give one common input, so follow each in-game prompt. START, SELECT, L and R mappings were not confirmed in the available sources and are intentionally not guessed.
