How to Play Sesame Street: 1-2-3
Quick start
On the main menu, use the D-pad to choose Astro-Grover or Ernie's Magic Shapes, then press START or SELECT. In Astro-Grover, begin with How Many Zips: count the visitors, move the number cursor and press A or B. In Magic Shapes, choose a beginner activity and compare the table shape with Ernie's picture.
Controls
D-pad: choose a game or number; in Magic Shapes, request a new shape. A or B: submit a number, catch the correct beam count or accept a matching shape. START or SELECT: confirm menu choices; during an activity, return to that activity's menu. These buttons do not act as a pause toggle.
Sesame Street: 1-2-3 — About this game
Astro-Grover turns counting, addition and subtraction into games about the visiting Zips. Different modes ask you to count groups, combine totals or match a beam to the number shown on a spaceship. Ernie's Magic Shapes shifts the focus to visual matching: compare the piece on his table with the picture above him, accepting useful shapes and requesting another when it does not fit. The activities offer progressively harder choices, animated rewards and chances to try again. Start with counting or simple shapes before moving to mixed arithmetic and more complicated pictures.
