How to Play Sesame Street: Big Bird's Hide & Speak
Quick start
At the six-window game menu, press any direction to move Little Bird, then A or B to choose an activity. Begin with Game One: listen for a friend's name, move to that friend's window, and confirm. Try the hiding games after learning the controls. START or SELECT returns to the activity menu.
Controls
Any D-pad direction moves Little Bird to the next window. A and B both confirm the window or game he is perched on. START or SELECT returns from an activity to the Game Choice Menu; neither is a pause button here. Listen to Big Bird's spoken instructions before choosing.
Sesame Street: Big Bird's Hide & Speak — About this game
Big Bird's Hide & Speak turns a Sesame Street house into a set of listening and memory games. Move Little Bird between windows and choose the friend or letter Big Bird names. Later activities hide the answers behind window shades, ask you to build a word with spoken hints, or challenge you to spell before sunset. Ernie, Bert, Elmo, Grover, and the Count celebrate correct answers with playful animations. The simple controls let young players concentrate on matching sounds, letters, and locations.
