How to Play Shaman King: Legacy of the Spirits, Soaring Hawk
Quick start
Choose New Game. After the graveyard introduction, your first task is to learn why Amidamaru remains there so he can join Yoh. Walk left in Graveyard 1 and recruit the Earthbound Spirit, then cross Graveyard 2, visit Yoh's home to activate the save point and restore your spirits, and go to the museum for the first proper spirit battle and Mosuke event. In battle, use Technique to attack, Select Spirit to swap, Item to heal or Flee when allowed. Put a weaker spirit first and switch to a stronger finisher so both share experience. Soaring Hawk and Sprinting Wolf follow the same story but contain different collectible spirits for trading.
Controls
D-pad moves and scrolls items, spirits and battle choices. A confirms, talks and picks up items. B runs, cancels or exits a menu. START opens Yoh's status, party and item menu. R opens the Spirit Album outside battle; L/R turn Album pages. In battle, choose Technique, Select Spirit, Item or Flee with the D-pad and confirm with A. SELECT has no field action, but inside Album information it changes the displayed view. Save and trade at the marked save points.
