How to Play Shamu's Deep Sea Adventures
Quick start
Press START and select New Game. The opening SeaWorld performance doubles as a tutorial: follow the prompts to swim, dash, leap from the water and smash the marked objects. After the Kraken scatters the Atlantis tablets, follow the mission route through the underwater stages, gather crystals before tackling enemies and use the dash on breakable barriers. Crystals protect Shamu from damage, so recover any nearby drops after a hit. Read the dialogue boxes for the next objective; this GBA edition is a distinct side-view adventure rather than the console game.
Controls
D-pad swims in four directions and selects menu entries. Follow the opening GBA tutorial for the action buttons: A confirms and carries out the prompted primary move, while B cancels or performs the taught secondary move such as a dash. START pauses and opens the stage menu. Jumping, dashing and smashing objects are introduced on screen; commands that use console-only X, Y, Z or an analogue stick do not belong to this version.
