Use stylus look, hand and magnifying-glass actions to inspect, move or collect. L brings inventory to the lower screen; choose items or notebook there and switch back to the scene.

Investigate a disappearance inside a Victorian house filled with Egyptian artefacts, locked passages and mechanical puzzles. Look around each room, collect useful objects and compare documents with the obstacle in front of you. The DS keeps inventory on a separate screen and adds a notebook for recording a symbol or idea. Begin by examining the entrance thoroughly and reading the first letter before combining items. A hint guide can provide direction when stuck, but observing the room and your documents first makes the puzzle easier to follow.
