How to Play Shikakui Atama o Maru Kusuru Advance: Kanji Keisanhen

Quick start

Press START on the title, select the one-person version, and then enter the basic problem course from "Kanji" or "Calculation." After checking the question until the end, use the cross button to select a possible answer, and press A to confirm. At first, prioritize remembering the question format rather than the number of correct answers, and if you get a wrong question, reselect the same field from the results screen and repeat. This work is an educational/learning software for learning Nichinoken-related problems in a game-like manner, and is registered for use by 1 to 2 players. The touch pen input and adventure-specific functions found in the later DS version have not been carried over to the GBA version.

Controls

Use the cross button to select the mode, kanji/calculation field, course, and answer candidate. Press A to confirm/answer, press B to cancel/return to the previous screen. START starts from the title, and during the problem, follow the on-screen instructions to open the interrupt menu. For two players, after selecting the number of people, take turns or answer as shown on the screen. L/R and SELECT shortcuts that cannot be confirmed in the dedicated manual and touch operations only available in the DS version are not listed.
