How to Play Shin Bokura no Taiyō: Gyakushū no Sabata
Quick start
Choose New Game. The prologue opens with Sabata fighting a nightmare boss; losing this battle is the intended story outcome. Control then shifts to Django in Sealed Prison. Head north, collect the Solar Nuts, take the Wizard frame from the green chest in the first spider room, then obtain the map and Gradius so you can break crates and switches on the route out. On the original cartridge, expose the built-in sensor at the top of the Game Pak to real sunlight and hold A in a sunlit area to recharge energy.
Controls
D-pad: move, hug walls and push mechanisms. A: confirm, examine, gather energy in sunlight, tap walls and pull coffins. B: use the equipped weapon. L: special action or trance. Hold R+D-pad: look ahead. START: pause/in-game menu. Hold SELECT+R to change weapons, SELECT+L to change special action and SELECT+B to change lens. Bike races: D-pad Up/Down moves, A uses the bike action, B fires its weapon, L boosts and holding R accelerates.
