Quick start
Choose a boxer and early tournament. Try a brief combination, stop to recover stamina and practise each guard before the next round.
Controls
Button setup: shoulder buttons punch, Y sways left and A right, X blocks high and B low. Touch drawing also supports punching and blocking; check the chosen scheme before fighting.
Showtime Championship Boxing — About this game
Choose a preset heavyweight or welterweight and enter a tournament. Punches spend stamina, while swaying and high or low blocks give a way to respond rather than attacking continuously. Begin by testing short punch bursts, let the bar recover and watch which guard the opponent is using. This edition has preset fighters rather than a create-a-boxer career. Original DS wireless bouts support two players with separate game cards; solo tournaments provide the main starting route.
