How to Play Shrek Swamp Kart Speedway
Quick start
Select a single-player race, compare Speed, Handling and Recovery, then start Swamp Rally at Shrek's Boggin' Bayou. Wait for the light before accelerating because an early start slows the launch. Follow the road, hit fixed boost pads and collect enchanted books for magic; some books are cursed and may reverse steering or put the racer to sleep. Clear the four Swamp Rally tracks before Forest Run, Country Hustle and Dragon Strip, completing 16 courses on the way to the Dragon's treasure. This Rev 1 cartridge is a verified official revision; no documented change to the race rules or controls was found.
Controls
D-pad steers and selects. Hold A to accelerate and press A to confirm. B brakes or reverses and cancels. START pauses. Enchanted-book magic and track boost pads activate on contact. No special L, R or SELECT role is asserted because the public GBA manual text available online does not expose those functions, and emulator keyboard bindings are not game controls. Rev 1 has no documented control change.
