How to Play Silva Saga

Quick start

Press START on the title, select an empty file using the four-way controller, and select A. Enter your name and select "End" to begin your adventure. At Arkasas Castle, receive the funds and the Earth God Statue from the Queen, and then talk to the King. Leave Mam's letter at the house in the east of the castle town, then head west to Laurent to find your first companion. Facing the person, press A to open the command and select "Talk." To save, go to the magic guild in town and select "Kiroku" from "Talk".

Controls

Move and operate the cursor using the cross keys. While moving, A opens a command and also uses it to decide and execute items. B is for canceling and closing the window. Even during battle, use the D-pad and A to give instructions, and press B to return to the previous person's selection. Use "Sentaku" to switch between mercenaries, statues, and parties, and use "Fight" to leave the battle to the mercenaries and statues for that round. In the magic list, move the cursor to the page on the frame and change the page with left and right.

Silva Saga — About this game

"Silva Saga" is a Famicom RPG in which 16-year-old prince Kairal aspires to go on an adventure like his grandfather in the world of Minervaton, where monsters have begun to appear again. Listen to stories in towns and castles, prepare equipment and tools, and proceed to unknown lands. In battle, you can replace not only the prince and his companions, but also hired mercenaries and magical statues of gods. While the princes are instructed to take individual actions, the battle between the mercenaries and the statues proceeds automatically, so when they take turns will change the way they fight. New powers can be obtained by merging two divine statues, but it does not necessarily mean that they will become stronger. Once a mercenary dies, it cannot be revived, and it will not recover automatically after battle, so be sure to handle it with care. You can keep a record of your trip at the magic guild in town.
