How to Play The Sims 2
Quick start
Create your Sim and check the current goal and phone messages. Address urgent needs first, then talk to residents and complete the next errand. Clean the hotel and spend earnings on useful improvements before taking on more work.
Controls
Move with the directional pad and press A to use objects or talk. Press B once, then move to run. L/R rotate the camera; X/Y adjust zoom. Use the touch screen for interactions and menus, and blow into the microphone to clear dust during vacuuming when prompted.
The Sims 2 — About this game
The Sims 2 begins with car trouble in the desert and leads into managing a hotel in Strangetown. Create a Sim, choose an aspiration and follow goals delivered through the interface and phone. Keeping the hotel clean and adding amenities attracts guests and income, while conversations uncover residents’ secrets. Hunger, hygiene and rest feed into a Sanity meter that needs attention between errands. Painting, music and unusual minigames provide other ways to spend time and earn Simoleons.
