How to Play Ski or Die
Quick start
Press START and select GO PRACTICE with the D-pad and A. Move the skier from the shop to SNOWBALL BLAST and confirm the course with A or B; A starts the event. Aim with the D-pad, hold A plus a direction to change your view, and throw with B. SELECT ends a practice attempt; choose Yes to repeat or No for another event. Register through SIGN IN before GO COMPETE.
Controls
START pauses/resumes. Snowballs: D-pad aims, A+direction changes view, B throws. Inner Tube: Left/Right move, Down accelerates, Up slows, B attacks. Downhill: Left/Right steer, Down faster, Up slower; A+direction performs jumps/tricks. B selects reversed Goofy controls before starting. Snowboard: Left/Right move; A+direction performs tricks depending on speed and location. Aerials: A starts; alternate Left/Right with A or B to build speed, then use direction-based stunts in the air.
Ski or Die — About this game
Ski or Die turns Rodney's ski resort into a winter sports challenge with deliberately unruly competition. Race down a mountain, perform judged aerials, build speed in a snowboard half-pipe, defend the snack stash with snowballs, or attack a rival's inflatable tube while racing downhill. Practice is for learning individual events; the complete five-event contest is reserved for competition mode. Different activities reward different skills, from aiming and ammunition management to landing varied tricks. In the tube race, pumps and patches keep you moving while sharp weapons and traps threaten both racers.
