How to Play Sky Destroyer
Quick start
During the demo, press START to proceed to the selection screen, select 1-person or 2-person mode with SELECT, and press START to deploy. First, get a feel for rising at the top and descending at the bottom, and maintain a sufficient height above sea level. Shoot enemy planes with A's machine gun, and use B's torpedoes against sea targets. When a huge base appears, aim to break through by hitting the torpedo on the battery.
Controls
Directional key up: Up. Bottom: Descent. Left/Right: Turn left/turn right. A: Fires machine gun. B: Fires a torpedo (single shot). SELECT: Switch between 1-player and 2-player on the selection screen, and do not use it during play. START: Proceed from demo to selection screen, start game, pause/resume during play. For two players, take turns after each mistake, and the second player uses the II Controller.
Sky Destroyer — About this game
Board the Zero fighter as it travels through the southern seas and fight against enemy planes in the air and ships on the sea. Machine guns and torpedoes can attack different targets, so it is important to use different aiming heights and firing timings. As you advance through the four time periods of day, evening, night, and morning, a huge base will appear, and if you hit the torpedo on the continuous fire battery, the mission will be completed. If you destroy the base, your aircraft will increase by one, and you will continue to the bonus stage where you will aim at the red fighter. Be careful not to get too carried away with your attack, as if you lower your altitude too much you will crash into the sea. For two people, there is a rotating system.
