How to Play Sky Kid

Quick start

Press SELECT or START to reach the title, choose one or two players with SELECT, then press START to take off. Get airborne quickly, shoot with A and fly low enough to touch and collect the bomb. B drops it instead of looping while you carry it. Bomb the mission target, then watch for LAND HERE and align your height with the returning base.

Controls

D-pad: move the plane up/down and adjust its position forward/backward. A: fire the machine gun. B: perform a loop without a bomb, or drop the bomb you are carrying. SELECT: choose one or two players. START: begin or pause/resume play. During a spin, hold Up and repeatedly press A or B to recover before hitting the ground. In two-player play, shoot a falling partner to help them recover.

Sky Kid — About this game

Sky Kid turns each sortie into a small flying mission: take off, fight through the enemy line, bomb the designated target and land at the next base. Your machine gun handles airborne and ground enemies, while the mission's main target calls for the bomb picked up along the route. Without a bomb you can loop to change position and get behind opponents; carrying one replaces that maneuver with a bomb drop. A hit may send you spinning rather than immediately ending the attempt, giving you a brief chance to recover. Two players can fly together, and a partner's shot can rescue a falling plane.
