How to Play Sky Shark

Quick start

Use SELECT on the title screen to choose one or two players, then press START. Move with the D-pad and press A to fire. Try to destroy the entire red formation and collect the S symbol to improve your gun. Use B for bombs when ground fire or a heavy assault leaves little room to escape. Collect B symbols when safe, and aim to survive until the next airfield. After game over, press START before the countdown ends to use a remaining continue.

Controls

D-pad: move the P-40 fighter. A: fire machine guns. B: launch a bomb from your available stock. SELECT: choose one or two players on the title screen. START: begin, pause/resume, or accept a continue before the countdown reaches zero; up to three continues are available. On the high-score screen, Left/Right select initials and A enters them.

Sky Shark — About this game

Sky Shark puts a P-40 fighter over enemy territory, moving from land defenses to fleets at sea. Survive each scrolling route until you reach the next airfield, while dodging aircraft, tank fire and naval guns. Destroy complete formations of red planes to reveal S upgrades that strengthen your fighter's spread of shots. B items replenish bombs, which are useful against dense attacks and ground targets but must be managed carefully. Losing a plane removes its firepower upgrades. Keep moving rather than retreating into a corner, and learn which enemies need immediate attention as the five stages grow more demanding.
