Watch how a threat approaches before committing the ship to a long movement. Keep firing where an enemy will pass and leave an escape lane rather than holding one spot until it becomes unsafe. Each new force is a reason to observe again: use the first moments to learn its rhythm, then combine attack and evasive movement without rushing into the next danger.
