How to Play Smuggler's Run
Quick start
From the Main Menu choose Smuggler's Missions, select Forest—the only area available initially—then pick the first mission and vehicle. Drive towards the on-screen direction arrow to collect each contraband package and follow it to the checkpoint or drop-off before the timer expires. Each delivery adds time; avoid trees, rocks and hard impacts because damage can halt the vehicle for repairs and lowers the package value. TurfWar is a separate mode in which you beat opponents to contraband and return it to your collection point.
Controls
Use the +Control Pad to steer and cycle through menu choices. A accelerates and selects; B brakes and returns to the previous screen. L sounds the horn, R displays the rear-view mirror, Select opens the map, and Start pauses. On the pause screen use Up/Down and A to choose Continue, Restart Mission or Exit. Use the direction arrow together with the map whenever the shortest line leads through thick obstacles.
