How to Play Monster Rancher Explorer
Quick start
Begin the adventure and inspect the first room. Move with Left/Right, jump with Up and use A to make or clear a box. Practise crouching with Down before planning a route to the exit.
Controls
Left/Right moves, Up jumps and Down crouches. A uses the box hammer, B launches fireworks when available, SELECT calls on monster friends and START pauses. The hammer affects the space ahead when standing or diagonally below when crouching.
Monster Rancher Explorer — About this game
Try the box hammer on safe ground before using it near an enemy. Standing changes the space in front of you; crouching lets you work diagonally downward. Plan how to leave a raised platform before removing its support, and remember that a useful staircase must still connect you to the room’s goal.
