How to Play Sonic Rush Adventure
Quick start
Follow the opening to Whale Point and complete Sonic’s training, collecting the Blue and Iron materials. Return to Marine’s House and speak to Tails until he builds the Wave Cyclone. Follow the sea-chart lesson, draw a route toward Plant Kingdom and steer the waterbike through its tutorial. On Southern Island, open Menu and choose Save to record progress; the game does not autosave.
Controls
On land, move with the Control Pad, jump with A/B and press Y on the ground to Boost with Tension. R during a normal jump dashes forward. From a standstill, hold Down and press A/B, then release Down for a spinning dash. Draw routes on the sea chart with the stylus. On Wave Cyclone, slide to steer; double-tap and hold, or hold L/R, to boost. Follow each later craft’s own controls lesson.
Sonic Rush Adventure — About this game
A storm leaves Sonic and Tails on Southern Island, where the energetic Marine introduces them to a new ocean adventure. Fast platforming stages provide materials that Tails turns into vessels, allowing the group to explore farther across the sea. You draw a voyage on the chart and steer the early waterbike with the stylus, then switch to buttons for the island Acts. Sonic and Blaze’s ground stages reward tricks and enemy attacks with energy for powerful boosts. New craft, hidden islands and missions expand the journey, so returning to cleared stages can supply materials as well as a better rank.
