How to Play Soukoban Densetsu: Hikari to Yami no Kuni
Quick start
Begin the story and inspect the first room before moving a crate. Use the directional pad to walk and push by stepping against a box. Find each goal, work out where you must stand and avoid pushing into a corner without a target.
Controls
The directional pad walks and pushes an adjacent crate when the space beyond is clear. A confirms menu choices, B cancels and START opens the available menu. Boxes are pushed, not pulled.

Plan backwards from the target squares and protect access to the sides of each box. A crate pushed into an unmarked corner can ruin a promising route, even if the other boxes are close to home. The story gives the puzzles a journey through light and dark, while an edit mode lets you arrange original problems after learning the basic rules.
