How to Play Spider-Man: Friend or Foe
Quick start
Choose Story Mode from the Helicarrier using the Control Pad and A, or tap its icon. Follow the first mission, practise punches and kicks, and switch to your sidekick when another ability is needed. Use the displayed gestures or buttons during interaction games.
Controls
The Control Pad moves/climbs. B jumps; double-tap B to web-swing as Spider-Man. X kicks, Y punches, A uses a special ability and X+Y grabs/smashes/throws. L cycles special abilities and R switches characters. SELECT shows objectives; START pauses.
Spider-Man: Friend or Foe — About this game
The S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier is your hub for Story Mode, Free Play and the Web Store. Fight alongside a sidekick, switching characters to use different abilities while exploring streets and rooftops. Punches, kicks, throws and special moves give the battles several approaches, while short interaction games help you operate the environment. Collect web tokens in missions to buy upgrades and unlock partners for Free Play. Ground action uses the lower screen, with the camera moving to the upper screen for rooftop areas, making the DS presentation part of how you follow the route.
