How to Play Spider-Man
Quick start
Choose New Game with Up/Down and confirm with A or START. In the city, practise A to jump, B to punch and A again in mid-air to swing. Fight street criminals to build experience, then head toward Connors' laboratory. Use SELECT to check your status and record the latest password before continuing underground.
Controls
Left/Right runs, A jumps and B punches while standing. Down crouches; Down+A drops through a suitable platform. In mid-air A starts a web swing and B kicks. Up grabs a ledge or ceiling; Up/Down climbs a wall. Roll your thumb from B onto A to fire immobilizing webbing. START pauses; SELECT opens status and the latest password.
Spider-Man — About this game
The status screen tracks attack, defence, experience and the latest password. Experience unlocks moves such as an uppercut, while hidden upgrades reward checking ceilings and side routes. Webbing can hold enemies still, but close attacks change with Spider-Man's posture: a standing punch becomes a kick when crouching or airborne. Learn the difference between jumping, starting a swing and letting go of a wall before crossing the wider gaps.
