How to Play Spitfire Heroes - Tales of the Royal Air Force
Quick start
Choose the easiest campaign setting and read the mission briefing. Practice turning and changing throttle at a safe height. Locate the required targets on radar, line up the aircraft and fire, then review the mission result before retrying.
Controls
Use the Control Pad for flight direction and pitch; watch the horizon as you learn the vertical response. A/B adjust throttle, R fires the guns and X performs a barrel roll. The lower screen displays instruments and radar; it is not used as a touch steering control.

Spitfire Heroes - Tales of the Royal Air Force places you in a Spitfire during a series of Second World War air-combat missions. Briefing files explain whether you must attack ground targets, defend a base or intercept incoming aircraft. The top screen carries the flight view, while the lower display provides radar and aircraft information. Keeping the target in front of your guns takes controlled turns and throttle adjustments, especially near the ground. Mission results consider more than reaching an objective, including time and losses, so learn a route and review your performance after a failed attempt. Begin at the easiest setting and get comfortable with the flight direction before making low attack runs.
