How to Play SpongeBob SquarePants: Creature from the Krusty Krab
Quick start
Begin the opening Diesel Dreaming stage and practise the touch commands before rushing onward. Swipe toward the clear part of the path, then upward when you need a jump. Use the D-pad to inspect what lies ahead, remove touch-sensitive obstacles by tapping or rubbing as indicated and tap an enemy to stun it before guiding the character into it. Follow the stage's switches and item prompts to open the route.
Controls
DS platform sections: swipe the character toward the direction of travel and swipe upward to jump. Tap or rub interactive obstacles as shown; tap enemies to stun them before contact. The D-pad pans the view so you can inspect hazards and objects. Action stages give their own touch instructions. These controls describe the stylus-led DS version, whose movement differs from button-led console platforming.

The D-pad shifts the view instead of serving as the main walking control. Other stages change the rhythm with more direct action.
