How to Play Spooky Story
Quick start
Begin the adventure and inspect the scene after Arty’s accident. Tap visible objects and speak to anyone you meet. When the castle opens, examine the room carefully and use dialogue clues to decide which object or route to try next.
Controls
Use the stylus to point at locations, inspect objects and choose dialogue or menu options. Select a collected item through the on-screen inventory controls and apply it to a relevant object when solving a puzzle. Read the resulting response before trying another action.
Spooky Story — About this game
Spooky Story follows Arty Fishal after a stormy-night car accident leaves him alone far from help. The nearby castle seems a place to find a telephone, but entering brings him into a comic world of ghosts, undead residents and suspicious hospitality. Explore hand-drawn rooms, inspect useful objects and pay attention to dialogue to work out what each character wants. The castle’s failed scarer Boah Puh and a tool-box guard dog are among its unusual inhabitants. Progress depends on investigating and solving puzzles with the stylus, so begin by examining your surroundings rather than tapping every object at random.
