How to Play Spore Creatures
Quick start
Start the adventure and follow the tutorial after leaving the water. Tap the book to review goals, investigate a nearby creature and choose a social or combat action. Collect suitable food and parts, then return to an owned nest and use the egg icon to edit your creature.
Controls
Move with the Control Pad or touch the destination; X/B/Y/A also move up/down/left/right. L/R rotate the view and START opens pause. Tap a creature and an action icon; to attack, choose the attack icon and rapidly slash across the target with the stylus. Use the displayed social prompts to befriend creatures.
Spore Creatures — About this game
Spore Creatures begins as your creature emerges from the water with a surviving friend. Explore, follow the goal book and interact with other species to gather food and body parts. Social actions can turn strangers into companions, while combat provides another way to obtain parts and supplies. Your creature’s mouth affects which food it can eat, and its available body points limit the parts you can fit. Return to an owned nest to open the Creature Creator, adjust the design and try new abilities. Build around the next goal rather than appearance alone, and watch both life and energy while travelling.
