How to Play Spy Hunter
Quick start
Press START, then use Up to accelerate and Down to brake. Fire with B while steering clear of civilians. In a new territory, call the weapons van with START, align behind its ramp and accelerate aboard. SELECT chooses equipment; A uses it.
Controls
Left/Right: steer. Up: accelerate. Down: brake. B: machine guns. A: selected special weapon. SELECT: change weapon. START: begin/call weapons van, not pause. Original-hardware pause uses A on Controller 2; this remains a single-player game.
Spy Hunter — About this game
Spy Hunter combines overhead driving with combat. Enemy cars threaten your flanks while helicopters drop bombs and road hazards force sudden adjustments. Weapons vans supply smoke, oil and missiles for different threats; the machine guns cannot solve every encounter. Entering a riverside boathouse changes your vehicle into a speedboat carrying its existing equipment. Protect civilian traffic: destroying innocent vehicles temporarily stops your score from increasing.
