On first launch, choose one of the three agent save slots, name it, then select OPERATIONS and start MISSION ZERO – IES TEST FACILITY. The required objective is to shoot all 11 targets before reaching the end; secondary goals include 31 slalom gates, six Satcoms, avoiding barrels, fewer than two civilian casualties, and a 50 m turbo jump. Take the right branch at the first fork so you do not miss a target, and double-tap A to turbo over the long jump. Secondary objectives are cumulative, so they can be completed on later runs.

Standard layout: D-Pad steers; A accelerates, B brakes, and Down+A reverses. Double-tap A for turbo. R fires the current weapon, L changes weapons, Up locks a missile target, and tapping Up changes the lock-on target. Press L+R together to dispense an oil slick. Start pauses. In menus, use the D-Pad to navigate, A or Start to accept, and B to cancel. A separate Alternate layout can be selected under SYSTEM OPTIONS, but these directions use the default Standard controls.
