Play Spyro 2: Season of Flame (US edition · English) Online

Press START at the title screen and choose New Game; the Options menu can change the input style and toggle tutorials. You begin in Sunny Plains after the Rhynocs steal the fireflies and leave the dragons without their normal flame. Talk to Bianca and Hunter, catch the nearby fireflies, and complete Hunter's jump, glide, and hover practice. Then enter Country Farms, the first full stage, where Henrietta asks you to rescue Daisy from a Rhynoc; completing that early objective lets Bianca restore Spyro's fire breath. Use the starting ice breath to freeze threats, then charge through them, and press SELECT once fire returns to swap breaths for the obstacle in front of you. L+SELECT opens the map in Spyro stages, which is the safest way to check unexplored corners. Touch Zoe in Country Farms to save your progress, and collect gems as well as fireflies because later portals require them.

Menus: Control Pad highlights choices, A confirms, B returns, and START begins or pauses the game. Spyro: Control Pad moves; B uses the current breath; A jumps, press A again in the air to glide, and press it a third time while gliding to hover. Hold R with the Control Pad to charge or use the Super Head Smash after it is learned. Hold L with the Control Pad to look around. SELECT switches breath abilities; L+SELECT opens the map in Spyro stages. Sheila: Control Pad moves, A jumps, A twice double-jumps, B kicks, and A+A+B performs a jump smash. Agent 9: Control Pad moves, Down crouches, Up enters a door, A jumps or double-jumps, B fires, and L switches weapon. Sparx stages: Control Pad moves, A or B fires, and L/R rotate fire left/right.
