How to Play SSX 3
Quick start
Press Start, highlight QUICK PLAY on the main menu, and press A. Use Left/Right to choose a rider and press A; customize the rider if desired, or move down to CONTINUE and press A. Choose an available peak with Left/Right, then a track with Up/Down and A. Snow Jam on Peak 1 is a friendly first run: steer through the course, use tricks to build adrenaline, and spend it on boost toward the finish. For lasting progress, choose CONQUER THE MOUNTAIN instead; placing in events and completing BIG Challenges earns medals, cash, rider upgrades, and new tracks.
Controls
Menus: D-Pad highlights options, A selects, and B returns to the previous screen. Riding: Left/Right turns; Up crouches and builds speed; Down performs a speed check. Hold A to crouch and release it to jump. In the air, use the D-Pad to spin or flip and hold A, B, L, or R to grab the board. B uses adrenaline boost on the ground or while riding a rail/log. L or R punches and pushes an opponent on the corresponding side while grounded. Start pauses.
