How to Play SSX Tricky
Quick start
Press Start, choose SINGLE EVENT on the main menu, and press A. Use Left/Right to choose one of the two initially available riders and press A; choose RACE, SHOWOFF, or TIME CHALLENGE, press A, then highlight a course and press A again. RACE is the clearest first objective: beat four boarders in a winner-take-all downhill run. Hold A before a jump and release at the lip, then combine a grab with a D-Pad rotation; landed tricks fill the adrenaline meter for B-button boost. Gold medals in WORLD CIRCUIT unlock ten more riders.
Controls
Menus: D-Pad highlights, A selects, and B returns to the previous screen. Riding: Left/Right moves the rider, Up builds speed, and Down performs a speed check. Hold A to crouch and release it to jump; B spends adrenaline on boost. On the ground, L or R pushes an opponent to that side; in the air, L or R grabs the board. While airborne, Left/Right rotates and Up/Down flips; combine a grab with a direction for more elaborate tricks. Start pauses.
