How to Play Star Force
Quick start
Press START to begin. Move Final Star with the Control Pad and press either A or B to fire. Keep room on both sides while learning where the first enemy formations enter; avoid pursuing ground targets into incoming fire. At the area's command target, follow its sideways movement and keep landing shots until it is destroyed. Later, shoot Calderon to release Purser and combine with the ally for a speed increase.
Controls
Control Pad: move Final Star in eight directions. A or B: fire the Star Beam Gun. START: begin the game, pause during play, and resume from the paused position. SELECT is not used.
Star Force — About this game
Star Force is a vertical shooter built around a straightforward weapon and demanding enemy patterns. Final Star's beam strikes both aircraft and structures below, letting you concentrate on positioning instead of switching weapons. A moving command target blocks the end of an area and must be destroyed to advance. Breaking the prison convoy Calderon frees Purser, an ally that combines with your ship to improve movement and firing speed. Scoring opportunities add another layer: ground bonus targets reward careful coverage, and the assembling fortress Larios offers a much larger reward if its illuminated core is destroyed before the surrounding sections join it. Learning when to chase points and when to protect your escape route is central to the run.
