How to Play Star Wars: Jedi Power Battles
Quick start
Choose the language, press START, select New Game and pick Obi-Wan, Qui-Gon Jinn or Mace Windu. For a first attempt, the GBA walkthrough recommends Qui-Gon because his ordinary attacks and special are easy to use. The opening mission is the Trade Federation Battleship: defeat the first droids and move upwards, clear every enemy on the first floor before climbing the stairs, then work through the ship. Learn to tap R just before a bolt arrives, as the first boss must be defeated by reflecting its fire three times. Take health and Force pickups before difficult jumps.
Controls
Run with the Control Pad. A attacks with the lightsaber and may be used whilst running or jumping. B jumps; press B twice for a double jump. L performs the second or special lightsaber attack. Hold R to block, or tap it just before a blaster bolt hits to return the shot. Hold R and press L for the Jedi's Force special. START opens the pause menu. In the Level 8 vehicle section, use the Control Pad to move and B to fire.
