How to Play Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones
Quick start
On the main menu, use the D-Pad to highlight Start and press A. If you want an easier first run, open Options first and set Skill to Padawan; Knight is normal and Master is difficult. Level 1 is Coruscant Rooftop: cross the rooftops, cut through the droids and reach the hangar. Hold R to block blaster fire and send shots back instead of chasing every ranged enemy. The 12-level campaign alternates side-scrolling lightsaber combat with 3-D vehicle chases, so watch the control change when a vehicle stage begins.
Controls
Menus: D-Pad highlights, A confirms, B returns, and Start skips cut-scenes. Side-scrolling stages: Left/Right walks and turns, Up enters a door, hold Down to crouch, B jumps, A attacks, R blocks with the lightsaber, R in the air spins or dodges, and Start pauses. A while crouching performs an uppercut; A plus a direction changes the saber strike, and sequences of A plus directions perform special combos. Force moves use L+Left/Right for Force Push, L+Up for Force Jump, and L+Down for Super Force Push. In 3-D stages the D-Pad steers, A fires the blaster, B launches a missile, R uses a smart bomb, L uses a Force power, and Start pauses.
