Play Star Wars Trilogy: Apprentice of the Force (US edition · English) Online

At the title screen, choose a language with the Control Pad and press A. Press A again to begin a new single-player game, choose a save slot with the Control Pad and A, enter your initials, and press A when finished; B backs out. Your first objective in A New Hope is MEET UNCLE OWEN IN FRONT OF THE FARM. Move with the Control Pad, jump with A, and fire Luke's starting blaster with B. If you lose track of the goal, press Start: the Status screen's Mission Display shows the current mission name and objective.

Menus: Control Pad moves the cursor, A confirms, and B goes back. On foot: Left/Right runs and a double-tap dashes; Up climbs or looks up with a double-tap; Down crouches, climbs down, or looks down with a double-tap. A jumps; press A again in the air for Jedi Jump, or press A while crouched to roll. B fires the blaster or swings the lightsaber. L aims diagonally with the blaster or deflects lasers with the lightsaber. Hold R and press B for Force Push, L for Force Speed, or Down for Force Heal. Select switches weapons after the lightsaber is gained; Start pauses on the Status screen. Trench/speeder stages use Up/Down to swerve left/right, Left/Right to move back/forward, and B to fire. In dogfights, Up/Down accelerates/decelerates, Left/Right rotates, B fires lasers, R boosts, and L glides; A fires missiles in multiplayer only.
