How to Play Steel Horizon
Quick start
Begin the campaign tutorial and examine the selected naval group. Choose a movement order and destination before ending the turn. In the first engagement select one ship from the list, assign a target and try its special action.
Controls
Use the Control Pad and menu buttons to select groups and orders. After choosing a move order, select its destination on the map. During combat use the displayed ship list to issue move, target or special-attack commands; check the map again when the encounter ends.
Steel Horizon — About this game
Steel Horizon combines a naval campaign map with short real-time battles on DS. Build groups from different ship types and choose their grid routes, remembering that a slow vessel limits the whole group’s movement. When two forces engage, the display changes to a ship battle above and radar below. Select a ship from the list to change its position, choose a target or use its special attack while ordinary firing continues. Start by checking each group’s composition and the route to the objective, then preserve useful special actions for a clear target. The original game also offers separate head-to-head local battles.
