How to Play Steven Gerrard’s Total Soccer 2002
Quick start
If you want to play straight from the main menu, select single match mode and decide which club or national team your team can play against. For the first time, you can easily learn the controls by setting both the general difficulty and GK difficulty to Easy, and if you want to play for a long time, you can choose Tournament, Cup, or League. The goal of the match is to score more points than your opponent by the end of the match. Use the sides with B's short passes, and after the shot, chase the ball to the goalkeeper. On defense, he takes a passing course and uses A's sliding only when necessary.
Controls
Use the cross button to control running and kicking direction, and automatically switch to the player closest to the ball. While in possession of the ball, B is a pass that automatically selects a nearby teammate, and A is a shot/cross. The longer you press A, the stronger it becomes, and use the cross button to set the direction. For floating balls, A will jump/head the ball, and while defending, A will slide or intercept. GK cannot be controlled directly, but PK allows you to choose the direction of flight. START replays the previous play instead of the normal pause. Other pose operations could not be confirmed in the materials.
