How to Play Subbuteo
Quick start
Start the tutorial to learn legal flicks and possession rules. Practise a short, gentle pass before attempting a strong shot. Once comfortable, choose a match or create a team for a tournament.
Controls
Select and position figures on the lower touch screen. Use the finger-flick icon to set direction and power, then perform the indicated stylus action. Watch the upper screen for the outcome and plan the next legal move according to the tutorial’s rules.
Subbuteo — About this game
Subbuteo recreates tabletop football with figures on weighted bases rather than directly controlled running players. Position a figure, set the angle and strength of its flick, and use contact with the ball to build passes or shots. The lower screen handles the input while the upper screen shows the resulting play. A tutorial introduces the official rules, and custom tournaments, leagues and team editing let you organise matches around your own sides and colours.
